What a mix. 3 lovely days and 3 of non-stop rain. A very good lunch at the Acle Bridge Inn. Very restful, a lovely place. 'Golden Oldies' Maureen & Roger Sept 29 -Oct 6.

Dear Richard and Rosie thank you so much - we had a wonderful week exploring the local area and enjoyed a couple of boat trips - especially the River Ant stretch - beautiful. Would recommend the White Horse at Upton - amazing food (chefs's special) and atmosphere was great. Robert & Pam 7-14 Sept 2024.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage! The location was excellent for us as we took our canoes and there is a launch spot within short walking distance. We also did beautiful circular walks across fields, through woodland and along the broads/water edge. The cottage itself is in a very quiet location with incredible dark skies - perfect for viewing the stars. We loved it here and will definitely visit again. Anna 29 Aug -1 Sept.

Lovely cottage. Everything we needed. Lovely area. Thank you. Karen and Geoff Davies 23-26 Aug.

We've had a wonderful few days in your lovely cottage. Hickling NWT, day boat from Phoenix (Repps) up to Blackhorse Broad and back, great opening night at Hickling Pleasure Boat Inn + 2 subsequent visits. Hope to be back soon. Thank you. Julie and Jonathan Bloom 31 July - 4 Aug

Our second visit to this charming cottage and lovely to be at the Norfolk Broads & Thurne again. Wonderful weather for the first few days, so really appreciated the lovely garden to sit in. John and Maggie Roberts, 22-29 June 2024

Not the best of weathers but so grateful to have this cottage to come back to after a blustery outing. Have enjoyed all our usual places plus a ride on the steam train at Wroxham and Miniature World is great on a wet day. Lovely meal at Acle Bridge and saw osprey at Ranworth. Thank you for a lovely stay.  Emma, Steve, Sammy and Flora Gray 25th May - 1st June 2024 (our 6th stay).      I have had a great time especially the day boat and going to the miniature museum. I loved going to the mill.(Flora age 11).   We had a great time on our 6th consecutive visit despite the weather. I would recommend Ross's Wildlife Boat trips. He has moved to near Martham and we saw 3 swallowtail butterflies! (Sammy 14).

A lovely, peaceful second stay along with my parents. A great variety of footpaths available with walks of every length. Saw a seal eating a large fish in the river at Bureside - didn't expect that! A little further afield Ranworth Church and Wildlife Centre were well worth a visit. A peaceful break with plenty of walking. Thanks again for fizz, marmalade and biscuits. Roger and Maureen Coates Smith and Gillian Wilton (and Ebony black Labrador). 6-13 April 2024

We have really enjoyed our stay in the cottage over Xmas and New Year. Such a great place to just chill out. Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Weather variable but have been able to walk Weavers Way (along the river) even though there have been a lot of floods. Thank you for all the goodies - much appreciated. Sally and Steve 23/12 - 4/1/24

Fantastic cottage! Our first time here & we have loved all the features which make it so homely, including the marmalade, the prosecco and the carnations (we both worked at a carnation nursery when we were students). Churches, geese, barn owls, hares. Meals at Acle Bridge and The Lion. (Following advice about the size of the Lion's "mane" course we opted for staters and desserts). Favourite walk: Halvergate towards Berney Arms till Weavers Way meets a farm track then right to Wickhampton and then back to Halvergate on a lane. Best church: Wickhampton St Andrew. (Caroline has now visited Claxton church and the memorial to Rose Claxton at Rollesby. I have seen rushes) Philip and Caroline Rush (nee Claxton) 2-6 Nov 2023.

Another good visit along with our daughter and son in law. Everywhere very wet but we all got some good walking around Thurne and Ludham. Very good meal at The Lion but portions too big. Cottage nice and cosy and almost like home from home. Thank you. We hope to be back in the spring. Maureen and Roger Coates Smith + Ebony (black Labrador.) 22-29 Oct 2023
